The mission of the Minnesota Alliance with Youth is to ensure that all young people in Minnesota have access to the resources they need to be successful: caring adults; safe places; a healthy start; effective education; and opportunities to help others. The Promise Fellows' year of service focuses on both the civic engagement and achievement gaps experienced by many of Minnesota's students of color and low-income students. Fellows serve in a school-community partnership site or at a statewide partner organization to develop innovative ways to deliver the fundamental resources young people need to be successful.
