The main focus of AmeriCorps members serving with Multicultural Communities in Action is to provide educational and literacy assistance to youth and teens in public schools, alternative schools, and after-school non-profit programs. Additionally, some members also recruit community volunteers to assist in the after-school non-profit programs and assist adults with employment skills training and counseling. We have 40 full time positions that are located in Minneapolis and St. Paul.

Additional qualification to participate in Multicultural Communities in Action:
  • Several (but not all) of our positions require some college education
