The Community Technology Empowerment Project (CTEP) mobilizes
AmeriCorps members to bridge the digital divide, targeting the
unique technology access and resource access needs of new
immigrants. Members serve to develop culturally-appropriate
outreach and training materials including computer education,
public service announcements and website developments. |
Essential qualification to participate in CTEP:
Preferred Qualifications (One or more of the following are
desired but not required):
- Post Secondary Education
- Bilingual in Hmong, Somali, Spanish or othe
- Experience in volunteer management
- Advanced technology skills, especially in web design,
video production, or computer applications
- Experience in staff training, especially technology

backgrounds

community
