Work in Progress is a program
dedicated to serving immigrants and refugees, people with
disabilities and others with significant barriers to employment.
AmeriCorps members support service recipients in achieving
employment and community integration goals by providing
one-on-one job search assistance, mobility or bus training,
on-site and off-site job coaching, supervised peer-to-peer
community support, instruction in self-dependency skills and
teaching English skills. |
