Dr. Michelle Langenfeld is a purpose-driven, collaborative educational leader with more than 30 years of experience in K–12 education. She has served in a range of roles across urban and suburban districts, including teacher, principal, associate superintendent in Anoka-Hennepin, and Superintendent of Schools and Learning in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
She holds a Doctor of Education degree in Educational Policy and Administration and a Master of Education degree from the University of Minnesota, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice Studies from St. Cloud State University. She began her career in education following several years of experience in the private sector.
Since retiring as superintendent, Dr. Langenfeld continues to serve in leadership and governance roles as Co-Chair of the Anoka-Hennepin School Board, District Director for the Minnesota School Board Association, a board member for the Brooklyn Bridge Alliance for Youth and board member for the Association of Metropolitan School Districts. She also contributes to the Higher Education Literacy Partnership, serves as an adjunct instructor at Bethel University, and remains active in volunteer service within schools and her faith community.
