Kaia Chambers joined ServeMinnesota as Strategic Communications Manager in 2025. In her role, she helps lead the organization’s communications strategy, supporting internal and external storytelling, media relations, and community engagement to advance ServeMinnesota’s mission and amplify the impact of AmeriCorps programs across the state.
Kaia brings more than a decade of communications experience across nonprofit, higher education, and private sector settings. She has held roles at Greater Twin Cities United Way, Augustana University in Sioux Falls, and Augsburg University in Minneapolis, where she built a reputation as a “jack of all trades” communicator. Her private sector experience further broadened her skills in strategic messaging and outreach.
She holds a bachelor’s degree from Concordia College – Moorhead and a master’s degree from South Dakota State University. Outside of her professional work, Kaia serves on the City of Dayton’s Parks Commission and volunteers as a Minnesota Master Naturalist, combining her passion for community service with her love of the outdoors.
